A 49-year-old Mercedes driver faces criminal proceedings after a dangerous incident on Saturday afternoon! At around 4 p.m. he raced on the B462 in Bischweier with full force into a guardrail and then fled from the scene of the accident. Thanks to an attentive witness, the police were able to quickly determine the alleged alcohol driver and to find his home address.

A breath alcohol test revealed a frightening result: around 2.5 per thousand! The property damage to the damaged guardrail is around 2,000 euros.
