Weather chaos: Baum falls on B31!

On September 26, 2024, there were several weather -related traffic incidents in the region around Freiburg. At 2:40 p.m., a 57-year-old driver overlooked a construction site barrier in heavy rain and collided. Fortunately, the incident remained without injuries, only property damage occurred.

The same evening, around 9:44 p.m., a road user reported a fallen tree on the B317 between Bärental and Titisee-Neustadt. The street had to be cleaned through the road maintenance department, but all drivers remained intact. In the early morning of September 27th, at 3:30 a.m., another incident occurred on the B31 towards Donaueschingen. Two vehicles crashed into a tree that overturned by strong gusts of wind. There were no injuries here either, and the road was immediately cleared.
