Serious accident on L 201: motorcyclists seriously injured!

On Monday at 3:30 p.m. there was a dramatic traffic accident on the L 201 between Pfullendorf and Denkingen, in which a 63-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured. The man was traveling with his BMW when he overtaken an oncoming Mercedes when he overtaken an SUV "DFSK". As a result, there was a frontal collision through which the biker was thrown back on his own lane and hit the SUV.

The motorcyclist had to be flown to a hospital with a helicopter after emergency medical care. The 38-year-old driver of the SUV suffered a shock, while the 65-year-old driver of the Mercedes was unharmed. Overall, considerable property damage occurred: around 10,000 euros on the motorcycle, 25,000 euros at the Mercedes and around 3,000 euros at the SUV. The road was closed until shortly after 5 p.m., while the rescue workers and the fire brigade were deployed to carry out the vehicles and secure the scene of the accident.
