A 5: Dramatic rear-end collision near Freiburg provides traffic jam chaos!

A dramatic rear -end collision on the A 5 motorway caused massive traffic disruptions in the direction of Freiburg on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Around 12:45 p.m., a 28-year-old braked on the left lane, which a 72-year-old driver apparently noticed too late and crashed into the younger man's vehicle. Fortunately, both women were unharmed, but the cars were so badly damaged that they had to be towed.

The property damage is estimated at around 14,000 euros. The consequences of the accident led to long traffic jams on the affected section of the route, which stopped until around 2:30 p.m. Drivers have to prepare for additional waiting times this weekend!
