Car thieving in Breisach - police asks for clues!

On Friday, September 27, 2024, police officers in Breisach caught a suspected thief in the act. At around 12:45 p.m. the man was arrested on a gravel parking lot on the Harelungenweg after checking the doors on several cars and entering at least two vehicles to look for valuables.

Just a day later, on Saturday evening, officials arrested two more perpetrators around 10:35 p.m. Thanks to a witness notice, the men could be caught in Eichendorffstrasse after searching a car. Surveillance cameras caught the two in their brazen offense. In a backpack, the police found several objects that were clearly stolen from other vehicles.
