Serious accident on A5: 66-year-old bounces into trucks and is injured!

BAB 5, 79110 Freiburg, Deutschland - On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, around 7:05 a.m. on the A5 motorway, shortly before the Freiburg-Mitte junction, a serious traffic accident. A 66-year-old driver skidded due to an unknown cause, crashed into the guardrail and then collided with two trucks. The driver was seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital immediately.

Because of the accident, the A5 had to be completely blocked in the direction of Karlsruhe. The Freiburg traffic police have started the investigation and is looking for witnesses who have observed the incident. These are asked to report on 0761/ 882-3100.
