Green youth in BW starts with a new board: Approach for climate protection!

The Green Youth in Baden-Württemberg has chosen a new state board. At the last state members' meeting in Heidenheim, Tamara Stoll (25) and Tim Bühler (24) were elected as the new chair. Stoll, a former local politician, and Bühler who studies political science, want to herald a restart and focus more on the core issues of the Greens, especially on climate and environmental protection. They succeed Elly Reich and Anne Mann, who were previously in these positions.

Bühler emphasized that no election program will in future be created without the handwriting of the Green Youth. "We will not have green politics dictated by individual men," he announced at the meeting. Stoll put the topic of climate protection in the foreground and explained: "Climate protection is human protection - and it has to be the first thing!" Her statements are particularly relevant after the Federal Executive Board of the Green Youth announced not to run again in protest against the current political orientation of the Greens and to leave the party. www.merkur.de.
