Car accident in Karlsruhe: Car crashes against tram - 18,000 euros damage!

On Thursday morning there was a dramatic traffic accident in Karlsruhe when a 47-year-old car driver collided with a tram. The driver was on the shepherd's path in the east around 07:40 a.m. when he overlooked a red traffic light while turning to Haid-and-Neu Straße. The fatal misfortune led to a violent impact with the tram driving out of the city.

Fortunately, the man suffered minor injuries in the accident. However, there was considerable damage to property on both vehicles, which is estimated at around 18,000 euros. The police have received the incident and are now investigating.
