Serious traffic accident in Karlsruhe: Car driver seriously injured!

In the early morning around 6:15 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred at the Neureuter Straße/corner of Neureuter Strasse/corner when a 49-year-old truck driver disregarded a red light and collided with a car. The passenger of the car, a 35-year-old, suffered such serious injuries that she had to be taken to the hospital. The 36-year-old driver of the car got away with minor injuries, while the truck driver was unharmed.

The accident caused a total damage of around 25,000 euros, and both vehicles had to be towed. Particularly noteworthy: Due to the early hour, there were significant traffic disruptions. The investigation into the course of the accident is managed by the BAB traffic group of the Karlsruhe police headquarters.
