A dramatic accident occurred at 3:55 p.m. on the district road between Zang and the L1165 when a 19-year-old overtook an oncoming BMW in the rain. In the elongated left curve, he lost control of his VW and crashed head-on into the BMW, which was driven by a 23-year-old woman. The young VW driver suffered serious injuries, while the BMW driver was seriously injured and had to be freed from her completely destroyed car by the fire brigade.
