Great fire in Constance: Fire brigade saves family home from flames!

on October 7, 2024, at 5:07 p.m., a fire broke out on a single -family house in Radolfzeller Strasse. The Konstanz fire brigade, including the full -time guard and the Petershausen and Wollmatingen departments, quickly moved out to the site. The fire affected the outer facade and threatened to overlap on the entire building and the roof area.

Thanks to the quick intervention of the fire brigade, the fire could be combated with several extinguishing ears, and the flames to spread to the roof area was prevented. A fire engine was also requested to support. After an hour and a half, the fire was under control. The burned wooden facade had to be opened large for the final security and the insulation below had to be extinguished. The assignment was handed over to the residents and the police at 11:30 p.m., luckily there were no injuries.
