In the city center of Mannheim, there was a dramatic police operation in early Saturday morning! A 23-year-old man disregarded the attitude signals of a police patrol at short after 2 a.m. and raced through the streets with his Mercedes. Ignoring that he should be stopped as a control, he went full throttle and continued his insane drive over Bismarckstrasse and Parkring to the squares.

In his daring escape, he rammed red traffic lights, ruthlessly changed lanes and endangered numerous road users. Finally, the police could stop him at the B6/C7 intersection. The control showed that the driver had no valid driving license. Now it is being investigated against him for participating in a forbidden motor vehicle race and driving without a driver's license.
