Shock accident in Lindach: two seriously injured and gigantic damage!

On Monday morning, the L 1156 between Schwäbisch Gmünd-Lindach and Iggingen-Brainkofen occurred a serious accident that seriously injured two people and caused property damage of around 70,000 euros. A 25-year-old driver of a Mercedes sprinter overtook two vehicles around 9:50 a.m. and collided head-on with an oncoming truck whose 41-year-old driver tried to avoid.

The young man was caught in his vehicle and had to be freed from the Schwäbisch Gmünd fire brigade, who was on site with around 30 emergency services. Both drivers were seriously injured and brought to hospitals by the emergency services, while a rescue helicopter was also used. The state road was completely closed during the accident recording and recovery, the reopening is planned for 1:30 p.m.
