In the coming week, on October 7, 2024, the campaign days will start with pickpocketing nationwide - and the Münster police focus on the vulnerable group of senior citizens. The unscrupulous perpetrators are only waiting for a short moment of inattentiveness, be it in the supermarket or in lively city centers. The consequences for the victims are often devastating: In addition to money, they lose important ID cards, keys and possibly also personal data that can be misused.

The officials of the Commissioner Prevention of the Münster police offer informative consultations on several dates: On Wednesday, October 9 from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on the cathedral square, on Thursday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Westhoffstrasse in children's home and from 12 noon to 2 p.m. on the Dingbänger Weg in Mecklenbeck - each in the parking lots of the local supermarkets.
