Shock accident on A659: injured and driver without valid appearance!

on Tuesday morning at 6:15 a.m. on the A659 towards Weinheim there was a serious accident between two cars, which caused property damage of around 20,000 euros. A 54-year-old Citroen driver overlooked a Mercedes when changing lanes and collided with him on the side. The collision hurled the Mercedes against the concrete control unit, while the Citroen came to a standstill against the direction of travel.

The 27-year-old Mercedes driver suffered minor injuries and had to go to the hospital. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the crash and were towed. The A659 was completely closed during the accident. During a check, it turned out that the Citroen driver only had a Somali driver's license that is not valid in Germany. He now threatens legal consequences for negligent bodily harm and driving without a valid driving license.
