The traditional Starbäck bakery closes its production site in Hechingen at the end of the year, which questions the future of its 34 branches in Baden-Württemberg. The company, which was founded in 1766 and employed around 1,000 people across Germany, had originally announced a renovation procedure in self -administration in May to continue business. In a new message, Sternenbäck Management GmbH clarified that the location in Hechingen will only be open until the end of the year.
