In the night of Sunday, October 6, 2024, there was a brutal assault on Hirschstraße corner Glöcklerstraße in Ulm. A 36-year-old was involved in a dispute with a group of people in whom he was seriously injured by a stranger with a sharp object. The perpetrators then fled on foot towards the fishermen, while the victim ran behind.

The Ulm police immediately initiated an extensive search, which led to the preliminary arrest of two suspects near the crime scene. However, their role in the incident remains unclear, so that they were released after a short time. The description of the perpetrators is promising: one should be between 180 and 190 cm tall with gray jacket and blue jeans, the other smaller, of full stature and with glasses.
