A young person had an accident with his moped on Riedlinger Strasse in Ulm this morning at 8:15 a.m. On the way towards the train station, the driver apparently lost control when a technical defect appeared on the brake. He got off the street, brushed the guardrail and fell. Fortunately, the young man only suffered slight abrasions and was released home by the emergency services after a short treatment on site.

The damage to the moped amounts to around 50 euros, while the guardrail remained intact. In view of the accident, the police remind you that protective clothing and a helmet are essential when traveling with a two -wheeler to minimize injuries in the event of a fall. With every fall, the hands are particularly at risk, which is why wearing gloves should also be part of the basic equipment of a motorcyclist.
