Customs controls in Ulm: Illegal workers discovered on fiber optic construction sites!

In a large -scale campaign, the main customs office Ulm uncovered countless illegal workers on fiber optic construction sites. In the past few weeks, suspicion -independent controls have been interviewed in the past few weeks, which led to the initiation of 29 investigations. Among those arrested were four Serbian and one Turkish employee, whose residence permits expressly prohibited work in Germany. The case of the Turkish man, who was already prohibited with an entry ban, was particularly explosive. For the men, punitive security of 4,600 euros was raised, followed by their immediate expulsion from Germany.

In Öschingen, on the other hand, the officers came across three Brazilians who did not have any valid German residence permits. Some only submitted applications for a Portuguese residence permit. Together with the public prosecutor's office in Tübingen, one security amount per person was determined, which the Portuguese employer had in a flash. Officials accompanied one of the employees to the bank, where the money was withdrawn in cash. These workers were also expelled from the country and received a temporary revenue ban.
