Bamberg receives 500,000 € funding for digital start -up centers by 2028!

Bavaria's State Secretary Tobias Gotthardt handed over a funding notice of over 500,000 euros to the Lagarde founder Center1 in Bamberg on September 30, 2024. This financing enables the continuation of the "network activities" by 2028 and is part of a Bavarian initiative that supports a total of 19 digital founding centers. Gotthardt emphasized how important a strong network for start-ups is to transform innovations into successful business models. Lagard1 was funded with a total of 700,000 euros from 2017 to 2023.

Mayor Andreas Starke and District Administrator Johann Kalb were grateful for the support of the Free State of Bavaria, which not only promotes the start -up center, but also the exchange between founders, founders and established companies. During a celebration with around 40 guests, including local company representatives and politicians, there was also a panel discussion on the role of digital founding centers.
