Sonder protection program decided: Music pavilion of the Wilde Rose Keller is being renovated!

The renovation of the music pavilion of the Wilze Rose Keller on Bamberg Staffelberg is supported by a special monument protection program. Andreas Schwarz, SPD member of the Bundestag from Forchheim and a member of the budget committee, announced yesterday that 250,000 euros are provided for the restoration of the music pavilion.

The special monument protection program enables a piece of cultural heritage to retain and be preserved for future generations. The music pavilion, which was built between 1873 and 1875, is an important historical building and a popular meeting place for musical events.

The repair of the music pavilion includes the renovation of the load -bearing structure, the restoration of the decorative elements on the facades and inside the building. Although many elements of the pavilion are still preserved in their original condition, urgent repairs are necessary to ensure its long -term preservation.

Thanks to the commitment of Andreas Schwarz and the city of Bamberg, the music pavilion will probably shine in a new splendor in time for the 2025 beer cellar season. The renovation work is scheduled to begin in September and receive the pavilion for future generations as a cultural jewel.
