This special day invites all citizens to rediscover their homeland at free tours and events. The Tourist Information in Geyerswörthstrasse opens its doors for exciting themed tours from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., including theater and film tours as well as insights into the historical work of the Cistercian monks with short tours in the Ebracher Hof.

The new tourist mission statement for Bamberg and the Bamberg Land is also presented, supplemented by current research results on the economic factor of tourism.
