Public insight: New plans for Bamberg railway line from November!

The plan documents for the expansion of the railway line through Bamberg have been revised, and public inspection begins on November 4, 2024. This new phase follows a delayed repetition of the interpretation after discrepancies have been determined in the previously published documents. In the corrected documents, the changes are clearly highlighted in blue script, and the public has time to raise objections until December 17, 2024.

The plan documents can be viewed digitally on the website of the Upper Franconia government and analogously in the building department of the city of Bamberg. Registration for inspection is required, but advice on content or legal is not permitted by the city. All data subjects now have the opportunity to contribute their concerns again, with only objections to the current plan changes. Further information is published in the Official Journal of the City of Bamberg, which ensures the transparency of the procedure. The government of Upper Franconia makes it clear that previous objections continue to exist, unless those affected are now affected by the changes.
