Young pianist Elias Kapuscinski wins price at the Bechstein competition!

Schloss Britz, Berlin, Deutschland - Elias Kapuscinski, the 8-year-old piano student from Finowfurt, won a sponsorship award at the renowned Carl Bechstein competition in Berlin! On Sunday, October 20, 2024, he impressed the jury, which consisted of top -class pianists and professors. A total of 260 young talents had applied, but only 70 were allowed to take part after a video preliminary round. Kapuscinski was the only participant from Brandenburg and prevailed in a top -class competition.

The competition that takes place every two years, promotes and rewarded exceptional performances by young musicians. Elias has previously drawn attention to himself with his impressive appearances, including at the “Jugend musiziert” competition. For the upcoming competition season, the talented pianist plans to develop new programs with friends and siblings and present them to a wide audience.
