New training year in Barnim: fresh wind for the administration
The Barnimer district administration has experienced a fresh wind this week through the recording of new trainees. A total of ten young people begin their career in the public service. They were received with a warm welcome breakfast, in which the district administrator Daniel Kurth also took part. This not only gave the trainees their joy over their choice, but also gave them an overview of the diverse tasks that are mastered daily by the over 900 employees of the administration.
Among the newcomers are seven women and three men, with the majority - eight people - moving the way to the administrative assistant. The theoretical training takes place at the upper level center I Barnim in Bernau and at the Brandenburg municipal academy in Potsdam. Two other trainees, on the other hand, start their way as a surveying technician, whose theoretical training in the Eduard Maurer Oberstufenzentrum Hennigsdorf and at the educational institution.
Introduction and integration into the administration
In order to enable the new trainee to get a gentle entry, the district administration has organized special introductory days. These offer a comprehensive insight into the technical conditions at the workplace, data protection and occupational safety. The young trainees have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the training office and make important contacts. A guided tour of the Paul-Wunderlich-Haus, led by experienced trainees of the second year of training, is particularly noteworthy.
The prospective administrative assistants are used in six different specialist offices during their three -year training, while the surveying technicians remain in the cadastral authority and various internships are passed there.
District Administrator Kurth emphasized during the introduction that the trainees are in the public service. He explained: "We solve the problems of the citizens every day. You can expect diverse and interesting areas of responsibility, and this goes hand in hand with a high degree of responsibility that you always have to be aware of." This responsibility requires a high degree of reliability so that citizens can trust the decisions of the administration.
History of education of the district of Barnim
The training of young people has a long tradition in the Barnim district administration. The district celebrated its 30th anniversary last year. Since its foundation, over 300 young people have successfully completed their training in the administrative authority. These can enjoy numerous advantages that the public service offers as an employer. These include, among other things, tariff remuneration, flexible working time models and a wide range of further training opportunities. After successfully completing the training, there is also a chance of an unlimited takeover.
The commitment of the trainees is not only valued, they also have the opportunity to take responsibility at an early stage. This is particularly important in order to actively help shape the future of the Barnim region and to develop in a responsible environment.
