Road traffic is particularly challenging at the start of school. The Barnim police will therefore take measures to ensure the safety of the children. This includes installing references and increased traffic monitoring. Tempo 30 applies to schools and kindergartens, while special controls are carried out at neuralgic points.

Current construction sites and traffic instructions

Another topic that committed commuters in the region are the construction sites. Particularly noteworthy is the construction site at the roundabout on the Börnicker Chaussee. A new top layer has been applied here since Tuesday, August 27th. A traffic light system regulates traffic, and it is recommended to use the diversion via the Schwanebecker Chaussee, as there have already been backlog, especially for vehicles that want to go to the Bahnhofs Passage. These construction work is expected to continue until the end of the week.
