Bautzen invites: Saxon tour guide celebrates its premiere in November!

Bautzen, the city, which is known for its hospitality, becomes host of the 7th Saxon tour guide! From November 3 to 4, 2024, the Haus der Sorben becomes a meeting point for tour guides from all over Saxony. Here the participants expect exciting impulse lectures, lively panel discussions and intensive networking options. In addition, the participants can look forward to exciting tours of the city.

The importance of the guides is particularly highlighted in Bautzen - they are the ambassadors of the city and make a significant contribution to the design of the tourist image. During the meeting, topics such as the role of the tour guides in the area of tension between culture and tourism and current challenges in the mediation work are discussed. The event is supplemented with participants from the Saxon Ministry of Culture and Tourism as well as regional tourism associations. Bautzen visited over 24,300 guests in the first half of 2024, which underlines the potential of the city.
