Current Corona numbers for Main-Spessart: Incidence and infections rise!

On October 12, 2024, the Robert Koch Institute for the district of Main-Spessart in Bavaria reports two new coronavirus infections, which raises the total number of people that have been positive since the beginning of the pandemic. The current 7-day incidence is 9.5 per 100,000 inhabitants. A total of twelve cases have been registered in the past seven days.

The situation on the intensive care units remains stable: of a total of nine intensive care beds, only three are occupied, and no covid patients are treated in the intensive care unit. In the meantime, Bayern shows a total of 7-day incidence of 21.9 with 351 new infections and eight additional deaths. There are currently 1,103 new infections throughout Germany, which increases the number of people affected to around 38.9 million.
