Construction site alarm on A73: Traffic affects until November 2024!

Forchheim, Deutschland - drivers on the A73 in Bavaria have to adapt to massive traffic disorders! Due to extensive construction site work, there will be considerable restrictions by November 29, 2024. The work that includes bridges and road construction extends over a length of up to 1.9 kilometers and affect the route between Forchheim and Baiersdorf. From Monday, September 9, 2024, from midnight, travelers have to expect increased traffic volume and possible traffic jams by the end of November.

The work begins on the A73 in both directions - from Bamberg to Nuremberg and the other way round - and will also result in short -term closures. The sections between Forchheim-Süd and Baiersdorf-Nord are particularly affected. Drivers should therefore consider alternative routes in order to avoid long waiting times.
