Bavaria disappointed despite the dominance: 3: 3 remis in Frankfurt!
Frankfurt/Main-FC Bayern Munich had to be satisfied with a 3: 3 draw in the exciting Bundesliga game against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, despite a strong first half. Three defensive mistakes made the victory impossible for Munich, although they took the lead twice in front of 58,000 spectators in Frankfurt. Minjae Kim (15th minute), Dayot Upamecano (38th) and Michael Olise (53.) had taken Bayern in the lead, while Omar Marmoush (22nd/90.+4) and Hugo Ekitiké (35th) met for the Frankfurters. The Munich leaders remain the leaders with 14 points, since they can have a better goal difference than the tied rival RB Leipzig.
With the late compensation,Bayern coach Vincent Kompany missed the chance to win the first four away games of the season as the second coach in Ottmar Hitzfeld. Despite their dominance in the first half, Bayern could not build on their early successes. Frankfurt, on the other hand, was efficient, equalized the residues and managed to lift the point in the final phase. Eintracht trainer Dino Toppmöller had changed his starting eleven in five positions compared to the last game, and while Kevin Trapp was not fit enough, Kaua Santos was used.
