Cold Case after 30 years: Process for murdered Sabine begins!

A shocking case employs the judiciary in Bavaria: After more than 30 years, a suspected murderer is in court!

The cruel murder story has kept the small village of Wiesenfeld in suspense since December 1993. At that time, the 13-year-old Sabine disappeared without gauge while regularly caring for horses on the riding stable. Her disappearance made many villagers shaken, and two days later the terrible discovery came: Sabine's body was found in a manure pit - brutally misused and murdered. A crime that heated the minds and remains unforgivable!

Cold Case in Franconia

Now, more than three decades after this incredible crime, the Würzburg public prosecutor may have achieved an important breakthrough.

The accused, a 47-year-old man who was only 17 years old at the time, is initially unreasonable. At the start of the trial, he repeats his shoulders and claims that he has nothing to do with the murder. But the presiding judge Thomas Schuster is unmistakable: "There are traces that make it very, very, very unlikely that you have nothing to do with the matter." A truly captivating sentence that makes it clear that the judiciary is willing to do everything to get light into the dark!

The investigation is a real marathon. Despite the long ago, there is still hope for justice. "The crime not only acted on Sabine, but also to the entire community," said Chief Prosecutor Thorsten Seebach, who calls up the brutal circumstances of the crime again. The defendant is said to have choked Sabine before hiding the body in the slurry pit. A hideous crime whose details get the blood going even after so many years!

Court draws witnesses and evidence

Over 200 witnesses were targeted according to the latest investigative methods!

The evidence becomes exciting! During the repeated examinations, the accused's DNA was discovered on Sabine's clothing. The police unveiled that sperm traces of the victim were identified - a clear evidence that leaves no room for doubts: "We can rule out that a second perpetrator was involved," explains a policewoman at the hearing. A clear finger in the direction of the main suspect!

Now the entire community is being banned at the Bavarian court. The biggest question remains: is the secret federation of silence broken so that the truth finally comes to light? With 81 invited witnesses and 4 experts who will testify in the course of the lengthy process, the picture could change drastically in the coming negotiation days.

The parents of Sabine are also there, depressed and full of questions. Her pain and uncertainty have been a heavy burden for decades. The shadows of the past now come to light, and everyone hopes for justice that was long in coming.
