During a regional church consecration in Bavaria, there was a terrible incident that shook the community in Fürth. A 31-year-old man was hit by a carousel and tragically died.

The accident occurred on a “tornado” carousel when the man tried to collect a lost shoe of a passenger that was lost while driving. In a courageous act, the 31-year-old went on the carousel to bring the shoe back on the run. Unfortunately, it was recorded by the moving chassis and trapped between the floor and the carousel.

Despite the quick intervention of first aiders and the bypassing resuscitation on site, the man could not succumb to his serious injuries. He was immediately taken to a hospital where he died shortly afterwards. The police have initiated an investigation against the operator of the driving business because the suspicion of negligent killing is in the room.

This tragic misfortune has grown deeply and made the dangers of rides and the importance of security at folk festivals. It reminds us of how quickly everyday situations can turn into life -threatening situations and how important it is to always be attentive and careful to avoid such unforeseen tragedies.
