Joint shooting evening of the Lebenshilfe and shooting club in Bad Reichenhall

Karlsteiner shoot with life aid: a special cooperation

The shooting club Karlstein Kaitl has established a unique partnership with the Lebenshilfe Berchtesgadener Land, which recently invited to their second shooting evening together. That evening, two supervisors and six people with disabilities were warmly welcomed by the members of the association.

Under the direction of sports manager Monika Wickop, the participants were brought together in sponsorships and were able to enjoy shooting on the stands. During the waiting, they talked in a cozy Stüberl or played a throwing game. The targets were attacked with great enthusiasm and sometimes very precise shots. In the end, each guest personally received a winning cup from their sponsor.

The evening sounded at a joint snack, organized by Elke Empl and her team, in the Stüberl. Based on the positive experiences, it was decided to include this special evening in the annual event program. This collaboration was initiated by 1st secretary Michael Brauner, Roba (regional open disabled work) responsible Brigitte Maier-Kochund and 2nd shooter Sabine Empl.

It should be pointed out that the last summer round table with shooting opportunity before the summer break will take place in two weeks, on July 25, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. Finally, the holiday program of the city of Bad Reichenhall will be held on September 5, 2024 before the club trip to the Höglwörthersee takes place on Friday, August 23, 2024.

The cooperation between the shooting club Karlstein Kaitl and Lebenshilfe Berchtesgadener Land is a strong sign of the integration of people with disabilities into the community. Such actions strengthen the community and reduce prejudices.
