Long -time youth welfare director Anke Frischmuth is retiring!

Anke Frischmuth, the long -time deputy youth welfare office manager of the Bergstrasse district, was recently passed into well -deserved retirement by District Administrator Christian Engelhardt and the full -time district deputy Matthias Schimpf. After 33 years of commitment to children and adolescents in the district, the experienced social worker was recognized for her outstanding achievements. Frischmuth entered the district's service in 1991 and had many key positions in the youth welfare office in her career, including the departmental management of the regional team Odenwald/Neckartal. She started her career as a youth education officer and she was significantly involved in positively influencing the fates of many young people.
