Ceremonial opening of Hertha BSC in the Olympic Park - test game and autograph session included!

On Sunday, July 28, 2024, the Olympic Park becomes the meeting point for all football fans. Hertha BSC invites you to the official opening of the season. The festival begins at 10:45 a.m. with a opening speech by Fabian Drescher, the provisional president, and Thomas E. Herrich, the managing director.

This event not only marks the start of the new season, but also a return to normal for the entire Hertha family. After a long break, fans and players can finally come together and enjoy the day together.

The day offers numerous highlights, including a test game by the 1st women's team against Holstein Kiel at 11:00 a.m. Football enthusiasts can also look forward to the presentation of the license team. After the presentation, the players are available for an autograph session to meet the signature wishes of the fans.

Another important event of the day is the traditional Hertha Cup, which will be held for the 26th time. The official fan clubs fight for the coveted title and the award ceremony takes place at 5:30 p.m.

The season opening not only offers sporty highlights, but also interviews, music, action and information stands as well as a large selection of dishes and drinks. It is an opportunity for the entire community to come together, to exchange ideas and to share the anticipation for the coming season.
