Telekom has set up a new location with great commitment in the past two months, which significantly improves the network coverage. Users can now expect better reception in buildings and the mobile phone connection is also more stable on the Saxony-West railway line!

"We face an unprecedented challenge! The need for bandwidth grows by an incredible 30 percent annually! So we are high-pressure to drive our mobile phone expansion program forward," explains Georg von Wagner, the company spokesman for Deutsche Telekom.

With the new location in Pausa-Mühltroff, Telekom increases the number of its locations in the Vogtlandkreis to a total of 114! A household cover of almost 99 percent is now a reality! And more comes: an additional 39 locations are planned by 2026. On top of that, exciting extensions with LTE and even 5G are targeted at 35 radio masts!

In order to achieve these ambitious plans, Telekom needs the support of the municipalities and the property owners. "If you want to rent land for a roof or a mast, you are welcome to contact the German radio tower," said the request to everyone who wants to help create a better network.
