The Lower Saxony Police Orchestra ensured an unforgettable concert evening on Saturday evening in the almost sold out theater at the Wilhelmshöhe in Lingen. Together with the talented singer Susan Albers and the Big Band of the Peace School, a captivating program was offered, which the listeners with hit melodies from film classics such as "E.T." And "Harry Potter" captivated. The only 14-year-old Johanna Gutwin, who sang Adele’s "Easy on Me", sang the brilliant start.
After the break, the audience of Susan Albers was torn along with emotional works such as "I will Always Love You" and the powerful "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner. The event, which was under the motto "Police Protection for Democracy", also served a good cause; The proceeds are donated to organizations such as the Hobbit and the Teddy Foundation. To celebrate the evening, the pupils of the peace school, Ms. Nicola Simon, presented a very special gift: a Basic Law made of stone. The concert was not only a festival of music, but also a strong sign of the community commitment.
