Bundestag on Wheels: Informative tour comes to Reinickendorf!
The German Bundestag brings politics directly to the people - and in the truest sense of the word! With its 17-meter-long and 26-ton promotion truck, the Bundestag tours the republic's constituencies in order to bring the work of Parliament closer to the citizens. From September 12th to September 14th, this unique opportunity will be offered at the Reinickendorf town hall, where the Infomobile station stops.
Am Eichborndamm 215 can learn more about politics and history in Germany in an analogous and digital way. A special highlight is the "virtual tour" through the plenary hall of the Bundestag, which gives an interactive insight into the political processes. In addition, the employees are available on site to answer questions and moderate discussions. A wheel of fortune with small prices and souvenir photos at the "Redner Pult" round off the informative program.
A visit to the infomobile is possible for individuals without registration, and there is even a lift for wheelchair users. Appointments can be made for group visits of up to 30 people, especially school classes. Schools in Reinickendorf receive information and registration options in advance to optimally prepare your visit.
Since reunification in 1990, the “Bundestag on the way” initiative has developed into a nationwide success. What was originally only planned for an election period is now a fixture in the schedule of many citizens. The Bundestag's promotion truck travels around 60 locations in Germany every year and strives to start each of the 299 constituencies at least once within two election periods.
A visit to the information from the Bundestag at the Reinickendorf town hall offers a unique opportunity to experience politics up close and to learn more about the work and history of parliament. Make a detour and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of German politics!
