Road safety campaign in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg: Focus control for school pathway
The Ordnungsamt Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg carried out a traffic safety campaign from April 15th to 28th, 2024, which focused on school and traffic safety. During the way of school, 113 vehicles that stopped in the second row were occupied with an administrative offense procedure, and two vehicles were implemented. In total, 1,173 vehicles with ordinary behavior were determined during a further focus control on traffic safety in the 17th calendar week, of which 131 vehicles were implemented. In addition, parking agency administration forces found 2960 vehicles without a valid parking ticket.
District Councilor Annika Gerold emphasized the importance of protecting the smallest road users on their way to school. Unfortunately, the statistics of the missions showed that not all road users raise this consideration. She thanked her colleagues for their commitment to more school and traffic safety.
It is crucial that road users, especially in the vicinity of schools, comply with the rules to ensure the safety of the children. This focus control also serves to raise awareness of traffic safety and to promote proper behavior in road traffic.
It is advisable that all road users, especially during school hours, are particularly attentive and comply with the traffic rules to ensure the safety of everyone.
