BVV Lichtenberg: meeting on June 20, 2024 canceled

The session of the district council (BVV) Lichtenberg, planned for June 20, 2024, was canceled due to personnel bottlenecks in the BVV office. This was decided after consultation with the board, all factions represented in the BVV and the district office. The head of BVV Lichtenberg, Gregor Hoffmann (CDU), regretted the situation and emphasizes the importance of BVV sessions as the basic pillar of parliamentary democracy. Despite the cancellation of the BVV meeting, the meetings of the specialist committees should continue to take place as planned. Citizens with concerns can contact the public committees.

Due to the problem, a solution for the BVV offices is being worked on across districts, since not only BVV Lichtenberg is affected.
