Violence protection in Lichtenberg: District office demands urgent need for action

In Lichtenberg, the heart of civil society beats loudly and urgently against violence against women and girls! With dismay, the district office has noted the alarming acts of violence in the recent past. A frightening female also occurred in this district - an active symbol of fatal violence that women have to suffer due to their gender. In Berlin alone, 28 women were brutally killed by men in 2024!

"Violence has no place in our society, regardless of whom it is directed!" - according to the haunting call from the Lichtenberg district. The gentlemen of creation suggests empty, while their deeds are tormenting in the background. Domestic violence knows no limits; It runs through all social classes and meets women everywhere. The responsibility of looking at is all! Too often the suffering of those affected is downplayed or simply not believed. On Monday, November 25, 2024 , the International Day heralds the global protest to eliminate violence against women and girls. The outcry will also be heard in Berlin!
