New digital zebra brings digital support in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen

The project now offers low -threshold and free support for digital applications that provide many citizens with challenges, such as booking doctor's appointments, access to civil services or the creation of PDFS.

District Mayor Martin Schaefer (CDU) emphasizes the importance of the project for the digital inclusion and participation of citizens: "With the 'digital zebra', the library promotes the digital participation of our citizens. It is essential that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the digital development. This offer opens up access to digital services for everyone, independent of their technical Knowledge. “

The Anna-Segher's library is one of 17 locations in Berlin where the "Digital Zebra" project is implemented. Trained digital pilots are advisable to advise visitors. Next, the Anton Saefkow Library in the Fennpfuhl district will also set up a "digital zebra".

Interested parties will find digital advice in the Anna-Segher's library at the following opening hours: Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The “Digital-Zebra” project is supported by the Association of the public libraries of Berlin (VöBB) by means of cross-resort cross-resort initiative and the European Fund for Regional Development (ERDR) in the Culture and Libraries program in the district (Kubist).
