New exhibition Approaching World opened in Gallery North
The district mayor of Mitte, Stefanie Remlinger, informs about the upcoming opening of the "Approaching World" exhibition in the North Gallery on April 12, 2024. The exhibition presents artistic strategies that approach the world with methods of field research and long -term observation, inspired by the considerations of sociologist Hartmut Rosa. Visitors are asked to include the body as the basis of experience and to consider time as a natural phenomenon and as cultural practice.
The exhibition is part of the 20th anniversary of the Tiergarten Art Association, which runs the North Gallery in cooperation with the Mitte district. Among the artists involved are Birgit Cauer, Nathalia Favaro, Kati Gausmann, Juliane Laitzsch and Muriel Valat-B. The exhibition runs from April 12 to June 15, 2024 and is accompanied by various accompanying events such as openings, artists' talks, curator groups and concerts.
This cultural event offers residents and visitors from Mitte the opportunity to experience contemporary art and deal with questions about time structures, alienation and resonance experience. The North Gallery serves as an important cultural meeting point in the region and promotes exchange between artists, curators and visitors.
Further information on the exhibition and accompanying events are available on the website of the Tiergarten Art Association. Media representatives can contact the press office of the Mitte district. The exhibition "Approaching World" promises an enriching cultural experience for all those interested in art in Mitte and beyond.
