Experience art installation Mixed Signals in Berlin until March 2024

The art installation "Mixed Signals" in the outside area of the Kunstbrücke am Wildenbruch is open 24 hours a day by the end of March 2024. The installation was commissioned by Kennedy+Swan as part of the “Ether’s Bloom: A program for artificial intelligence” program in Gropius Bau. The question of how technology and artificial intelligence can serve to listen to non-human beings and communicate with them is the focus of the exhibition. The artists have created a series of watercolors that can be scanned with a mobile app to create an interactive virtual scene that expands the story of the paintings.

The exhibition will take place from December 05, 2023 to March 31, 2024 and is accessible to the public. The Kunstbrücke on the Wildenbruch is located on the Weigandufer corner Wildenbruchbrücke in Berlin. You can contact Diana.nowak@bezirkamt-neukoelln.de for inquiries and images for the exhibition. The exhibition is kindly supported by the Senate Department for Culture and Social Cohesion and the Fund for exhibition allowances of imaging artists.

The installation addresses communication with non-human beings and the role of artificial intelligence in this process. With the help of modern technologies, the forms of communication of animals and plants can be deciphered, which enables exciting new insights. Kennedy+Swan's augmented reality experience offers visitors the opportunity to expand the paintings with digital 3D elements and immerse themselves in an interactive virtual world.
