Deutsche Bahn provides information about new green spaces in Pankow - now participate!

Great interest in the controversial plans of Deutsche Bahn! On November 21 and 25, two exciting information events will take place in Pankow, which put the future of the green spaces in the former border strip. Deutsche Bahn presents its extensive plans for the redesign of the popular areas and is therefore interested in numerous citizens.

The state -owned company Grün Berlin will be active from 2025! The redesign along the historic wall of the wall promises not only more space for relaxation, but also a new, green highlight for the capital. Sports areas, dog runs, and a natural experience room are at the top of the list. New woody and tree plantings are also supposed to upgrade the landscape.

These measures are not a mere beauty cure! They are part of the compensation for the loss of green spaces that were created by the extensive construction measures of the Deutsche Bahn. In the reconstruction of the Dresden Bahn, two new long-distance tracks between Berlin Südkreuz and Blankenfelde are built-an absolute mega project that also has to be compensated for. In Pankow, concrete compensation measures are now presented that result directly from this need.
