100th birthday of Elisabeth Andres celebrated in Reinickendorf
On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, Elisabeth Andres from Reinickendorf celebrated her 100th birthday in the Alt-Tegel senior citizens' leisure center, in which her mother was a member. Among the 55 guests were the district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner and the department head for senior citizens, Dominik Lindhammer. The district mayor brought flower greetings and best wishes to the jubilee.
Elisabeth Andres, who has been a member of the Tegel senior citizens' leisure center for 15 years, enriches the community with its long -term presence. Until last year she was actively involved in excursions and enthusiastically took part in dance events thanks to her good physical condition. It regularly takes part in the various offers, especially in card games and bingo.
The friendly and open -minded lady answered the mayor's question of what she would give everyone in the room as a tip: "You have to do everything with your heart!" This statement reflects Ms. Andres' positive character, who can always be found with a smile on her face and likes to dance to music, even if it is only sitting or supported on the rollator.
Elisabeth Andres was born on May 19, 1924 in Reinickendorf and worked in the chief finance directorate. She already lives her whole life in Reinickendorf and is happy about two children, two grandchildren, two great -grandchildren and even a great -grandson.
It is impressive to see how active and vital woman Andres is in old age and how it enriches the community of the Tegel senior citizens' leisure center. Her positive attitude and commitment are inspiring for people around them and show that life is worth living at all ages.
