District Mayor Ehrt Reinickendorfer entrepreneur at business reception

The traditional economic reception took place in Reinickendorf on Thursday evening, where district mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner welcomed around 300 entrepreneurs in an earlier freight of the Txl Airport. Wherever the freight was transported, there is now a collaboration center for the development of the “City of the Future” with 21 startups and over 250 employees.

A special highlight of the evening was the presentation of three new "Local Champions" - Mohr Trockungstechnik GmbH, Bartscherer & Co. Recycling GmbH and Collonil Salzenbrodt GmbH & Co. KG. These companies were honored with short films for their services and included in the Video gallery of the Reinickendorfer Business Development. The mayor particularly praised the long -term history and adaptability of these companies, which can always reinvent themselves and assert themselves in the competition.

Furthermore, the mayor campaigned for the “School meets business” initiative, which last year led to over a hundred additional internships. She emphasized the importance of cooperation between companies and schools to give young people insight into the world of work.
