New perspectives for the school on Staakener Kleeblatt

The completion of the new premises at the school on Staakener Kleeblatt was celebrated yesterday on Thursday. The school, which has been undergoing a gradual renovation since 2018, is now shining in new splendor. This step marks an important milestone in the modernization of the educational campus. Particularly noteworthy are the modern extensions, including a light -flooded auditorium with a stage and the latest event technology as well as a functionally equipped workshop area.

Accompanied by District Mayor Frank Werbig, district councilor Dr. Carola Brückner and the deputy headmaster Malek Saleh were able to explore the new rooms in the afternoon. Schools of the school on Staakener Kleeblatt led the visitors through the expanded buildings as part of their project week.

The architecture of the two extensions relies on amorphous floor plans, which represent an exciting contrast to the existing buildings. Despite some challenges such as the tense market situation in the construction sector and delivery bottlenecks in building materials, the budget of around EUR 4.28 million could even be undercut by 280,000 euros. A considerable performance in view of the global crises in recent years.

District City Councilor Dr. Carola Brückner was enthusiastic about the new premises: "The renovation and expansion of the school on the Staakener Kleeblatt is an important step towards a contemporary educational institution. But the work has not yet been completed. In the future, further measures are planned, including the renovation of further buildings and the expansion of the school with additional trains in secondary school and II as part of the school building offensive."

The future planning includes the construction of a three -storey expansion building and a multifunctional sports hall. These projects are submitted to the Senate after the summer holidays in 2024. The school on Staakener Kleeblatt is looking forward to a promising future that will be shaped by modernized infrastructure and extended educational offers.
