Citizens' initiative Wuhlheide invites you to tvo discussion
The Citizens' Initiative Wuhlheide invites you to the public information event on May 15, 2024 on the planned Tangential connection East (TVO). The event entitled "Impulse and Discussions on TVO: New thinking for future-oriented city and mobility development in Berlin southeast" takes place in the stadium at the Alte Försterei in Berlin. Experts like Dr. Habil. Weert Canzler from the Berlin Science Center, Axel Schwips from the Berlin-Brandenburg Alliance and others will share their perspectives on the environment, transport and social justice.
The TVO is a controversial project to improve the connection between different parts of Berlin in Berlin. The planned tangential connection is intended to increase mobility in the southeast of the city and potentially lead to relief on the streets. Proponents see this an opportunity to solve the traffic problems in this area, while critics express concerns about environmental impacts and social justice.
Dr. Claudia Leistner, district councilor for urban development, streets, green spaces and the environment Treptow-Köpenick, will also take part in the event. The Citizens' Initiative Wuhlheide is committed to a transparent dialogue via the planned TVO and would like to give citizens the opportunity to find out more and ask questions.
The experts and special guests who will take part in the event are listed in the table:
