New family medical practice opens: Strengthening the supply in Treptow-Köpenick

A fresh wind blows through Treptow-Köpenick! Since October 1st, 2024, the new general practitioner practice of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians in Berlin (KV) has been at the start and causes excitement in the district's medical landscape. District City Councilor Dr. Claudia Leistner is enthusiastic about this important step: "We welcome the new practice in our district and are very pleased that KV Praxis Berlin GmbH makes this important contribution to the health of citizens in Treptow-Köpenick!"

This practice is not only an enrichment for the patient, but also sets a strong sign against the lack of general practitioner care in the particularly affected areas of Berlin.

fourth practice since 2022 - a step in the right direction!

This opening is the fourth general practitioner practice, which has been founded in Berlin since 2022. The KV thus shows that it is determined to sustainably improve medical care on site. The new medical center, in which the practice is located, is part of the DRK Kliniken Berlin Köpenick and is centrally located in Salvador-Allende-Str. 2, 12559 Berlin.

The KV already coordinated this step with the health department before the opening. With this commitment, everyone involved is convinced that cooperation with the district office will continue to be very productive in the future.
